She started to play the piano at the age of three, and under full scholarship, at age five continued her serious musical studies at the national conservatory in Indonesia. Her appreciation of “the small things in life” is projected in her poignant musical sensibility. As a composer, Lusiana is actively developing her language in both acoustic and electro-acoustic music. She has received numerous awards and scholarships for her solo, chamber and choral compositions, in Canada, Indonesia, China and USA.
